Connexcel would like to notify all educational bodies hoping to send their Chinese students home for the holidays that there is another UK-based clinic whose test results no longer meet the stringent requirements perceived as valid for entry into China.

BioGrad Clinic offer the PCR nucleic acid tests and the IgM antibody tests needed for travel to China.  After a substantial number of passengers received a negative test result and then tested positive for COVID-19 on arrival in China, officials in the country are now reluctant to allow passengers in who have used this laboratory.  As a result, from today (4th December) until 3rd January 2021 the Chinese Embassy in the UK will suspend recognition of negative test results issued by BioGrad Clinic.
