Our special half-term camp at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools is now in full swing!

When the Chinese New Year comes around, you can expect a large family reunion and many festivities. The most important (and the biggest) event to take place is the traditional feast of New Years Eve. In keeping with this theme, the students attended a feast on the first night of our 9-day camp to celebrate the Chinese New Year. All the students, who are from several nations, were thrilled to sample the Chinese Hot Pot and the many traditional treats on offer.

The evening was a great success and a fantastic event which allowed all the students to socialise on their first night; it has stood the students in good stead to make the most of their stay at the camp during the upcoming week.
