Yesterday afternoon was one in which the students at our Easter camp at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools could let their imagination run wild! The students were given the opportunity to take part in an itajime shibori workshop. Itajime shibori is a Japanese tie-dye technique which entails folding and tying fabrics before dying them to produce beautiful patterns on the material.

We know our enormously gifted students revel in a chance to unleash their #creative streak, so it is no surprise that all the participants thoroughly enjoyed the session. We now just have to wait to see the fruits of their labour!
