Concerned Parents – Covid-19 in Europe

As the first of our students return to the UK and have settled into their 14-day quarantine at either their school or with their host family, the recent rise in infection levels in Europe and the news over the past few days about new quarantine requirements for UK residents returning from various European countries has generated mixed feelings amongst Chinese parents with children about to return to UK boarding schools.  Although on the one hand, parents are reassured by the swift reaction of the UK government, there is also increased concern about the potential rise in infection amongst school populations as UK pupils return to school following holidays on the European mainland.  Despite this, the majority of pupils are arriving to continue their studies, confident that their schools will keep them safe, and we expect to remain extremely busy in the coming days and weeks making travel and accommodation arrangements for our students.
