Connexcel are hosting ten student webinars aimed at helping our overseas students to decide their A-level subjects, universities, and career choices. Each webinar will invite a graduate or senior university student to talk about their personal experiences and discuss the problems they have faced during their educational journey. The students invited to speak in October’s webinars were:
- Stephanie, who gained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cambridge University and is currently working in Hong Kong – 22nd October
- Daisy, who acquired bachelor’s and master’s in “Education with Psychology” from the University of Bath. She is currently working in the UK – 27th October
- Ollie, who is currently studying Medicine at Cardiff Medical School – 29th October
Over 100 students attended the webinar with Stephanie last Thursday. The feedback has been so overwhelming that we have decided to organise a playback in a few weeks for those who missed it.
We hope that by giving our students an in-depth look into their courses of interest well in advance they will be better prepared for making any difficult decisions in the future. Undoubtedly, these discussions are essential for allowing our students to become successful in achieving their career aspirations.
